Here at Big Country Bed and Breakfast, we are close enough to Lake of the Ozarks to enjoy all the amenities it has to offer yet far enough away to relax in our quiet country setting.
Whether you are here for one day or one week, Big Country Bed and Breakfast will be your home away from home. In addition to our full hot country breakfast and plush new beds, there is so much more to enjoy.
We have a variety of birds that feed at our beck deck throughout the day. We see doves, cardinals, orioles, woodpeckers, nuthatches, finches, and more. Multiple deer and turkey are also on the property almost daily.
We have two large decks, one that faces our back wooded property and is perfect for morning coffee while taking in an early morning sunrise, and our front deck faces towards town for a beautiful evening sunset. Sitting outside in the evening might include fireflies, owls, frogs and our resident bats that fly around and catch bugs.
If you feel up to an adventure, we are working on rough hiking trails that traverse over 90 acres of natural land that includes several creeks. We hope to have the trails ready by Spring 2020.
If you like caves, the lake area has three caves within a short drive, including the famous Bridal Cave in Camdenton or you can visit Ha Ha Tonka State Park.
